Hey, I dont know if you do emergency requests or not, but can I make a sort of one?

My cats been missing for three days, I've had her since I was 11 and she is REALLY important to me(shes also never been gone this long). We just got a ton of snow, im worried for her and I overheard my parents saying they think our neighbor did something to her. Can I request Sk8 characters comforting their S/O in a scenario like that?

Reki is probably one of the best people to be around if you want your mind taken off the situation. He’s good at listening as well if you want to talk but his real talent lies in distracting you.

Having said that, he’s very adaptable so if you prefer being comforted in a different way, he can change his methods to suit you.

If you feel like talking or just need comfort, Reki gives fantastic hugs. He’ll sway gently side to side and rub your back or head.

If you want to go out and help look for your cat, he’ll tag along. That way he’s helping but is also with you for support.

Of course, he’d also take his skateboard out and skate around town looking for your missing fur friend on his own. But his first priority is making sure you’re okay.

Langa is the best listener out of everyone here. If you want to talk about what's happening or reminisce about good times with your furry friend, he's there to lend an ear.

Much like Reki, he's going to grab his skateboard and go around town trying to find any clues as to where your cat's gone. 

He'll ask around at S as well. While Reki might have some reservations about going up to a random person at S and asking if they've seen a cat around, Langa does have the same qualms.

Langa's not the best with physical touch but if you want hugs or any other form of physical comfort, he'll do his best.

All in all, he'll be a more quiet supporter in this situation. He'll do what he can to help but he's a lot more subtle than some of the others.

Oh, Miya is finding your cat and discovering every detail of what happened. He’s starting a search on every social media platform he has and is ready to take it to the news if need be.

A missing cat is no joke to someone who's favourite animals are felines so Miya is right there with you in missing your furry friend.

He's probably very attached to your cat as well so he's going to do whatever he can to get it back. If that means he has to call in some favours thanks to his standing and fame, he'll do just that.

Miya's not great with words or physical affections but if that's what you want to help you deal with the situation, he'll do his best.

If he gets to choose how to comfort you, he's going to just be in your presence. He may not be great with words or physical comfort but he's got a reasonably soothing presence.

Joe is taking you back to the restaurant, making you your favourite dish, calling Cherry so he can give you company, and setting out to search for your cat.

He’d be there in person but doing nothing while someone he cares about is hurting is hard for him, especially if he knows there are things he can do to help.

Joe will also print out missing flyers and stick them up all over town, keeping a few at the restaurant. Every customer he servs, he’ll ask if they’ve seen your furry friend (if they can give him any information, he’s offering a free dessert).

If you do particularly want his company, Joe will stay with you and make calls to a bunch of his connections from S so they can start the search.

He’s good at comforting people, especially if they want someone to talk to, either about the situation or about something else entirely. He’s a good listener and will respond at the right moments with the right words.

Cherry is the perfect combination of Joe and Miya: he's going to be hands on with helping to find your cat but he's going online as well.

He's also got more resources than Miya so he'll be sending out drones as well to scout the city in search of your cat.

He's also going to call in help from Joe. He knows that, as many connections as he has, his old friend has a lot of different connections that may also be able to help.

Because he can search remotely, Cherry will be able to spend a lot more time with you than the others.

He's very adaptable in comforting you so whether you want physical comfort, kind words, a good listener, or just someone to be with, he's got it covered.

Don't Worry About A Thing

Summary: After getting put into the care of Kojiro "Joe" and Kaoru "Cherry" due to his parents being severely neglectful, Miya starts to become really stressed out when he realizes he has a competition coming up. Cherry catches him sneaking out of the house to practice and decides to confront him.

This is an agere fic! I cannot stress this enough, but if you are not comfortable or do not like the concept of age regression, please do not read.

It had been 1 month since Miya Chinen moved in with Joe and Cherry and things have been a lot. He was taken away from his biological parents due to their severe neglect and was placed in the care of Cherry and Joe. Take away was such a strong word though. Miya has been wanting to get away from his parents for a long time. He never felt truly at home when he was in their house. However, now that he was living with his new found family, it was hard to destress with all the court meetings and paper work going on. 

However, one night, as Miya was getting ready for bed, he checked his calendar on his phone and realized there was a competition next week that he was signed up for. He felt his heart drop to his stomach. He had forgotten! With everything going on, it had completely slipped his mind. He did not feel ready or prepared at all. He needed to practice and get better. So after he was certain that his guardians were asleep, he snuck out and went to the skatepark to practice. 

This routine of sneaking out of the house to practice for his competition became a nightly and daily thing. He was constantly training and working to get better. It was starting to become really unhealthy. The amount of sleep he’d get was close to 4 hours, he’d only eat at least 1 meal a day, constantly getting scrapes and bruises and was almost always wearing his binder, barely taking it off during the day. 

Cherry was honestly insulted that Miya thought he didn’t know. He saw the deep bags under the 13 year old’s eyes and the sloppily placed bandages on his face. It was very obvious. He didn’t like to admit it, but he was overprotective of Miya. Joe was more of the chill kind of dad. So Cherry was the one that tended to worry and notice the small things. 

He was so concerned that he decided to talk to his boyfriend about it. Joe admitted that he hadn’t really noticed but it would probably be best if Cherry talked to the boy about it that night. So that’s what he did. After saying goodnight to Miya, he waited downstairs for him to attempt to sneak out. 

Soon enough, about 30 minutes later, he heard small footsteps make their way to the front door. Cherry took a loud sip of his tea and turned on the lights.

“Miya, what are you doing up?” He asked. Miya stopped in his tracks, internally panicking. He knew he was just caught and needed to think of some excuse fast.

“I- I was just gonna grab some tea,” Miya lied. Cherry eyed the skateboard in his hands.

“Did your board also want some tea?” He said. There was a small moment of silence before Miya spoke again.

“I- I’m sorry, I just wanted to go out and practice,” Miya explained, fear in his voice as he looked down. 

“It’s alright, Miya. Come on, let’s talk,” Cherry guided him towards the couch in the living room, taking his board and putting it on the skateboard rack they had. He sat down with the boy on the soft, cushy couch.

“Wanna tell me why you’re sneaking out at night?” He asked. Miya pulled his knees up to his chest and hugged them. This was the first time he did something wrong with them and he was scared. Would they ground him? Make him train more? Take away meals? He didn’t know but he knew lying would just get him in a worse situation.

“I- I have a competition coming up in two days and I haven't had time to prepare due to the issue with my parents…” He mumbled. He expected some yelling or insults, but was surprised when nothing like that happened. Instead, Cherry wrapped his arms around him and pulled him into his lap, holding him close.

“Miya, this past month has been really stressful on all of us. It’s normal to not be prepared for things. Why didn’t you tell me you weren’t ready? Or that you had one to begin with?” Cherry asked. At that moment, Miya felt so small. But not in a bad way. It was like he was a little kid, being comforted by his mama. He knew what this feeling was, he regressed a couple times before, especially after big overwhelming events. It wasn’t foreign to him but it still felt scary. He didn’t have a lot of experience regressing, he just knew he felt so vulnerable and clingy. But Cherry was waiting on an answer so he needed to speak up.

“Was af’aid that you would be disappointed…” Miya mumbled, trying his best not to stutter or lisp.

“Sweetie…I could never be disappointed in you. You make me so proud,” Cherry gave him a small hug. That little affection broke Miya. Without warning he started crying. He hid his face in Cherry’s chest and gripped the robe he wore, shaking a little as he sobbed. It had been so long since he was held like this and was told he made them proud. His touch-starved and affection-deprived self wasn’t used to all this and he started to fully slip, falling into his littlespace, his mental mindset decreasing before he hit age 2. 

“Shh, it’s okay, Little one, Shh,” Cherry rocked him back and forth, sensing the boy’s slip in mentality. This had happened once before. He remembered it happening one day when he found the boy at the skatepark, crying and afraid. He had run away from his parents house after they were being searched for if they were doing enough to support their child. 

They sat like that on the couch for a couple of minutes. Cherry tried everything to comfort him. Miya really liked physical affection so he cradled him and rubbed his back and shoulder. It seemed to really be working too, even though Miya was still crying.

“Let yourself relax, sweetheart, It’s alright,” He told him. Miya continued to cry until he was all out of tears and rested against his chest. His breathing was now normal and he seemed to finally relax. 

“I think it’s past your bedtime, huh?” Cherry asked. Miya nodded and snuggled up like a little kitty on his lap.

“Mhm, ‘m eepy, Mommy,” He said.

“Let’s get you to bed then,” Cherry smiled and lifted him up. The boy weighed nothing. He was so light, it worried the caregiver. But he’d have to talk about it when Miya felt older. There was no way he’d be able to talk about it the way he was now. He was too small and sleepy.

The pink haired skater walked to the boy’s bedroom with Miya in his arms. The room was still plain with a couple of personalized items such as a poster, a night light, a cat stuffed animal, and a backpack on the floor. He set him down in bed and handed him his black cat plushie. Miya hugged it and smiled, letting out a small yawn. Cherry tucked him in and was about to leave to let him rest when he heard the small boy whine.

“Don’t leave, please,” He whimpered, “I know dis thing is weird but I dun wanna be alone…” 

Miya was worried that Cherry was leaving because he was weirded out by his regression. He knew lots of people didn’t approve of it, especially his biological parents. They hated it whenever he did anything that was considered childish.

Cherry sighed and walked back over to his bed and sat down, brushing the hair out of Miya’s face.

“I won’t leave you alone, don’t worry, dear,” He kissed his forehead. Miya snuggled up into his lap and finally felt calm and relaxed.

Reki will be easily the most comforting person here. He’s right there for you if you want any form of comfort.

Definitely a bit in shock. He was keeping his hopes up, despite his more pessimistic side suggesting the worst so when he finds out about your cat, he’s definitely saddened.

Will help you in any way he can. Want him to duck out and get your favourite snack? He’s on it. Want him to stay with you and take your mind off things? You got it. Want a hug? He’s already wrapping his arms around you.

He’s furious by the way. How dare someone hurt your cat. But he’s going to hide that anger for now. You don’t need him going off at the moment. Right now, you need someone to comfort you.

Langa is greatly saddened by the news but may have trouble expressing it. It’s not that he struggles with emotions, it’s more that he has difficulty showing those emotions in a way that others can recognise.

He will probably run home as fast as possible to ask his mum for advice and see if she can make his favourite comfort food. If it works for him, it’s sure to work for you, right?

Langa’s not as angry as Reki but that doesn’t mean he isn’t itching to go and find whoever hurt your cat and teach them a lesson.

But in the meantime, he’ll keep you company and do what he can to help ease the pain you’re in.

Miya might be more distraught than you are. After everything he did to help find your furry friend, this happens?

He’ll probably need some comfort as well. It’s mutual. You give him hugs, he’ll give you hugs. Just don’t tell the others about this! He’s got a reputation to uphold.

Once he calms down a bit, he’s going on every social media platform he put posts on about your missing cat and giving the people who helped an update.

He’s probably found out exactly what happened to your cat by this point so he’s doxxing the culprit on those platforms as well. What? It’s not his fault their information was so easy to find…

Joe’s able to do a lot more than any of the kids, mostly because he’s got more life experience. He’s going to contact the authorities as soon as possible so that the culprit is brought to justice.

Then he’s making you your favourite food and sitting with you for a while. He’s happy to talk about anything or nothing, as long as he’s helping you feel even a tiny bit better.

Much like Reki, he’s got a lot of anger building inside him towards whoever hurt your cat but he’ll wait to let it out.

He will let it out though. Whether physically or verbally, is another matter but he’s certainly going to give the culprit a piece of his mind.

Cherry is going to take a far more subtle approach to the situation than Joe. His first priority is making sure you’re okay without smothering you.

Whatever form of comfort you want, he’ll do. Want some space? Need to talk? Want your mind taken off everything? You got it.

As soon as you’re okay though, Cherry’s enacting his revenge plan. He won’t play an active role in bringing the culprit to justice but you can be sure he’s the one orchestrating everything.

ahh. reki’s slow descent into insecurity this episode wrecked me

you see, you can see that reki is still chillin with langa’s status as a skater

but then frickin shadow had to go and start it all here

and also, I feel like if miya really knew how much reki would hurt he wouldn’t have smiled like this

Reki: So, now that you've seen the senpai do the job... Do you think you can do it?

Langa: Everyone looked like they were having fun. That's why.

Cherry: He pretends he's going to leave and then he does a quick spin turn, and from how his partner is running towards him, the relative velocity makes it seem like you're being hit by a truck of love.

ADAM: Hug!!

ADAM: Princess Shadow, I want to keep you all to myself! Your body, your heart, and your wallet!

Shadow: Yes... I'll give them all to you.

ADAM: Today... is your birthday isn't it?
